"The restaurant industry always seemed to tug on my heartstrings, although I promised never to return unless I were to own my own restaurant." Meet our talented Executive Chef and Owner, Erik S. Smith. Born in Bremerton, Erik attended and graduated from West Sound Technical Institute with an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. He earned the title of Best Jr. Chef in WA state in 2003 & 2004 and attended Le Cordon Bleu in Portland, OR. Early in his career, Erik quickly excelled, becoming the youngest Executive Sous Chef at Jaspers Gourmet Backyard Cuisine in The Woodlands, TX, after training under Celebrity Chef Kent Rathbun, and Brain McNamara. 

Erik and his wife, Krystle, have owned Greenhouse since December 2021, and have been successful in transforming it into one of the finest restaurants in town. Krystle’s attention to detail and desire to provide guests with an unforgettable experience, coupled with the re-invention of the menu, has made Greenhouse very successful. From intimate dinners to celebratory gatherings, Greenhouse offers an ambiance of sophistication and joy. Our extensive wine list and handcrafted cocktails complement the menu, ensuring a truly elevated dining experience.
